  The Vamus Algarve Tourist Pass provides unlimited travel on all Vamus intercity buses across the Algarve, available as a 3-day or 7-day pass, starting at approximately €35. It is a convenient, cost-effective option for exploring the region, including Aerobus services—but does not cover local urban buses in towns like Lagos or Albufeira. 

Key Details of the Vamus Tourist Pass

• Pass Duration & Price (2025/2026): Options exist for 3 days or 7 days of consecutive travel. The 3-day pass has been priced at €35.
• Coverage: Covers all Vamus bus routes, including the Aerobus (56) from Faro Airport and the      EVA Cliffs Line.
• Excluded Transport: Does not include local urban buses (e.g., Giro in  Albufeira, A Onda in Lagos), Rede-Expressos, or other long-distance services.
• Where to Buy: Available at bus station ticket offices, ticket machines (including Faro Airport), via the "VAMUS Algarve" app, and at tourist offices in the region.

Alternative Option
If you are taking fewer trips, the prepaid "pre-purchased ticket card" available at bus stations can be more cost-effective, often reducing fares by 40-50%.
