The location was excellent and only a few minutes walk to the town center where there were a number of bars, restaurants, etc. We didn't have any face to face contact with the owner but she answered an email query very promptly and pleasantly. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace and having a rest in the sunshine. We visited the castle and cathedral one day and drove down to Lagos on the coast on another. Whilst saying we would recommend it for couples I think that there is everything there that a family would need right down to buckets and spades.

Beautiful comfortable place near amenities and in a lovely area. Good facilities, internet and TV channels. Air con helped a lot. Host was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, welcoming apartment, equipped with everything (even cool bags, ice containers, etc.) and a welcome gift (fruit juice and water). The double bedroom - equipped with a kettle and electric coffee maker - overlooks a wonderful terrace; The accessories (blankets, cushions, etc.) are also very nice.

This lovely house is on three floors and centrally located, within walking distance of everything Silves has to offer. Our stay was great, a very comfortable house. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Fully equipped with good quality homewares. The roof terrace was a real bonus complete with a bbq, comfortable furnishings and awning. Everything is clean and in great condition. This house is in the old town, very close to the castle, cathedral, museum, cafes and restaurants. The owner Karen also provided beach umbrellas and mats which we used on our two trips to the beach. 

     You just need to go to enjoy

Fuimos en Junio de 2025, the triplex house has details to ensure that you have a comfortable and comfortable place to stay. It's one of the few people I've been allowed to do absolutely nothing. Practically everything is new and can be done. Excellent location to get everything back to the Algarve. It goes down very well at night, it's a short walk from all the services. The communication with the anfitriona is very good and the response is guaranteed. Sin dudas repetiríamos.

A beautiful, tastefully renovated house with absolutely everything you could think of laid on, from beach blankets to coffee pods. We were a family with small children but this charming home with lashings of character would equally suit a romantic break for a couple due to the wonderful (air conditioned) attic room and rooftop courtyard from where one can watch the migrations of people and storks alike. The location is fabulous, right in the historic heart of Silves and mere steps away from a host of restaurants - while also being within a short drive of the coast, water parks or hilly hikes and spectacular views. All this and a gracious, thoughtful host to answer any questions and assist with special requirements. Highly recommended.

Wonderful apartment with great facilities. Everything was new and thought of; from cool box to extra towels for a beach trip. Perfect location for people who want to explore the surrounding cities. But next to some nice restaurants and an interesting castle, so you won't get bored if you stay in Silves. I recommend the port experience next to the castle and the jazz cafe.

Nice house, in the middle of Silves, everything is quite new and tastefully furnished (great, Karen!). The apartment is on 3 floors with a roof terrace overlooking the old town of Silves, especially at night very quaint. (However: the 3 floors need to be climbed, for people with walking problems this can be a problem). The parking situation is delicate in Silves center, but there are parking spaces in the direct area of ​​the apartment.

The location of the house. Spectacular. The house was very clean and full of details from the owner. It did not lack anything. Thank you.They could improve the auxiliary beds. But overall very good score. Extra mattress toppers have now been purchased to improve the comfort of the auxiliary beds. Thank you Milagros.

What a fantastic home in the heart is Silves! Karen was a great host and provided us with all the information prior to arrival. The accommodation was spotless, had everything we needed and more and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Only a 45min drive from Faro airport and a 20 minute short drive to local beaches, Portimão and the race track. You have everything you need within walking distance, from cafes to bars and restaurants and a Lidl literally a few mins walk down the road. The highlight for me was the beautiful balcony, absolutely loved sitting out there at all times of day! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
